Bobby and Brandy are lifelong dog owners with experience across a variety of breeds. However, their focus shifted after purchasing their first Boykin Spaniel together in 2013 and they became hooked on hunting dogs. With a shared love for the outdoors and well-mannered dogs, they quickly discovered a passion for gun dog training and weekends filled with hunt tests to keep their dogs’ skills sharp between hunting trips. As interest in their dogs grew—especially regarding their performance at trials—they decided to build a training facility to share their passion and expertise with others.

Fair Feather Retrievers was officially established in 2015 and is located just one hour south of Atlanta in Barnesville, Georgia. Both Bobby and Brandy take great pride in FFR and in every dog that enters their kennels. They treat each animal as if it were their own and are committed to maintaining happy clients while developing top-performing retrievers.

In 2023, they expanded FFR to include boarding services. The new facility is climate controlled to ensure your dogs have all the comforts of home. Please allow FFR the opportunity to board and care for your dogs when you are away.
